TERMS of "SALE" Purchases:  

  • A non-refundable deposit of 20% is needed to hold your horse.   
  • Payments welcome for up to six months.
  • All Vet & Health records will go with every horse so Buyer is fully aware of their past health history including shots, farrier care, deworming, & breeding history.
  • All horses are sold 'as is' as we cannot be responsible for what happens once horse leaves our farm.
  • Seller will not charge board or feed costs for the horse during the first 3 months of repayment terms.  After that time, there will be a $4.00 per day feed & board charge.
  • The Buyer IS responsible for farrier fees ($25 trimming) while horse is in repayment terms.
  • Any and all other health/vet fees such as vaccinations will be that of the new owner(s) (buyer) while horse is in repayment terms.
  • Right of First Refusal/Buy Back Option will be in all Sales Contracts.
  • Foal(s) will carry the "Granite State" prefix on the registration papers.
  • Foal(s) will be registered (or application(s) will be in the office 'pending' registration) before leaving Granite State Miniatures.
  • REGISTRATION PAPERS ARE GUARANTEED!

TERMS of "IN UTERO" Purchases:  In order to purchase our foals 'in utero', buyer agrees to the following terms and conditions:

  • A non-refundable deposit in the full amount of the 'colt' price given for that horse will be required at the time of reservation to enusre you get that foal, and BEFORE the birth of the foal.  If the resulting foal is a COLT, no further payment is required on the actual purchase price for that foal, HOWEVER, if the resulting foal is a FILLY, the difference in price between the colt and filly price listed for that mare will remain to be paid.  That amount MUST BE PAID IN FULL by the time the filly reaches 3 months of age.
  • If for some reason the foal dies before it reaches a week old, or if in a rare instance a dwarft foal should result, the contract would immediately become null & void and all money paid for that foal would immediately be refunded in full.
  • Foals will normally be weaned at 4-5 months of age, but if timing for transporation is critical, I would consider weaning slightly earlier.
  • The price quoted is for the price of the foal at 1 week of age, after it is known the foal is strong & healthy.
  • Seller will not charge board or feed costs for the foal(s) up to and including 5 months of age.  After that time, there will be a $5.00 per day feed & board charge.
  • Seller will not charge for deworming up until the foal is weaned.  The Buyer IS responsible for farrier fees (about $10-$15 for a foal trimming).
  • Any and all other fees will be that of the new owner(s) (buyer), from the time the foal reaches one week of age and is found to be a strong, healthy foal.  These fees to be paid by the buyer may include (but not limited to) any and all vet fees, transportation, and any other sale related fees.
  • Seller will not be held responsible for any death or injury to said foal(s) unless through the seller's gross negligence.  We love our horses and do our best to help ensure their safety, health.and well-being.  We pride ourselves on never having had a serious accident.
  • Foal(s) will carry the "Granite State" prefix on the registration papers.
  • Foal(s) will be registered (or application(s) will be in the office 'pending' registration) before leaving Granite State Miniatures.
  • REGISTRATION PAPERS ARE GUARANTEED!

 

TERMS of "FREE LEASE":  In order to free lease any of our horses, leasee agrees to the following terms and conditions:

  • Well, almost free.  Mare or Foal Lease Specifics: You pay only the insurance (Full Mortality and Theft) and for Coggins and health papers. 
  • In the case of a Stallion Breeding Lease- Specifics Are:   You pay only his insurance (Full Mortality and Theft) and $200 for each mare that goes on his stallion reports.   No other lease fees.  Coggins and health papers will be paid by me, the lessor. 
  • In either above lease, the lesee is obviously responsible for the horses regular vet & farrier maintenance while the horse is in your possession
  • I, the lessor, will send in all necessary lease paperwork to the registries if applicable, so that the registry is aware of the situation and you may legally show and enjoy your leased horse!
